Abstract

Ce document présente les principales définitions du mème, terme créé par Dawkins pour désigner l'équivalent du gène dans le domaine de l'évolution culturelle. Plusieurs auteurs ont tenté de proposer une spécification de la nature (physiologique ou autre) de ce réplicateur culturel et deux d'entre elles, celle de Susan Blackmore et celle de Robert Aunger, sont décrites et comparées; leurs implications pour l'économie sont rapidement évoquées.
