Abstract

Dans un contexte marqué par l'envolée des prix du pétrole, cette étude vise à comparer les différentes stratégies des compagnies pétrolières internationales sur la période 1999-2004 sur la base d'indicateurs pertinents (chiffre d'affaires, rentabilité, ...). A l'aide d'une analyse individualisée, elle permet également de positionner chaque compagnie pétrolière internationale par rapport à la moyenne de l'échantillon global (8 compagnies). Elle permet ainsi de réaliser une combinaison d'analyse de groupe et d'analyse individualisée des sociétés pétrolières. Ce rapport se limite cependant à étudier différents indicateurs sur la période 1999-2004, afin d'en dégager des tendances majeures.
