Abstract

This background paper contains 22 CSPs cards, developed as questionnaires roundup of inventory of existing countryside stewardship policy programmes and 2 documents annexed. The first one deals with different procedures for policy implementation, preparation and submission of applications, and the second with an evaluation for transaction costs.. These (CSPsJ cards are classified under two headings : 12 of them concern application of 2078/92 EU Regulation, number 1 to 12, and the next 10 ones, number 13 to 22, consist in different other programmes connected with countryside stewarship or development policies to reduce negative externalities of the farm sector. Almost all of these measures have already been presented in the technical progress report at the Uppsala meeting (april 1997).,
