Sauver l'aviculture bretonne? Le projet de Langourla

Abstract

Les responsables de l'économie régionale et nationale ne peuvent traiter l'aviculture bretonne comme une production marginale ou la livrer aux aléas de la conjoncture. Au plan régional, l'aviculture a représenté en 1981 une valeur de 4 652,1 millions de francs, soit 19,25 % de la production agricole finale bretonne. Elle vient en 3ème position porc, après le lait et le porc, bien avant la viande bovine et, les productions végétales. Si cette activité concerne la quasi totalité des exploitations bretonnes (88 962 en 1979), elle est la ressource principale de plus de 4 000 élevages intensifs (4129) mais apporte un complément de revenu à près de 10 000 exploitations.
