Abstract

De manière générale, l'objectif de cette étude est d'examiner les conséquences macro-économiques et sectorielles de différents scénarios d'évolution de la politique agricole commune dans le sens d'une plus grande orientation du soutien des revenus agricoles vers des systèmes d'aides directes, financées par le contribuable. Cet examen s'appuie sur les simulations menées avec le Modèle d'équilibre général de l'agriculture et de l'agro-alimentaire français (MEGAAF). Dans les secteurs français des grandes cultures et de la viande bovine, le passage d'un système de soutien par les prix à un régime d'aides directes entraîne : une diminution substantielle des productions domestiques et des exportations sur le marché mondial, une augmentation notable des dépenses publiques et une amélioration du bien-être global.
