Abstract

La présente recherche est une contribution à l'étude du travail agricole. Elle aborde le problème des accidents de travail dans l'agriculture, reflet des conditions de travail dans ce secteur économique. La première partie rassemble des informations sur les accidents de travail des salariés agricoles, à partir : d'informations fournies par les assurances mutuelles agricoles d'Ille-et-Vilaine pour la période allant de 1952 au 1er juillet 1973 ; de statistiques nationales et régionales établies par les caisses centrales de la mutualité sociale agricole ; d'une enquête réalisée en Ille-et-Vilaine à partir des déclarations d'accidents communiquées à l'Inspecteur des Lois Sociales en Agriculture au tire de l'année 1975. La seconde partie se rapporte à l'ensemble des travailleurs non salariés de l'agriculture. Pour aborder ce problème spécifique, nous avons examiné un millier de dossiers d'accidents de travail et de la vie privée dont été victimes des chefs d'exploitations, leurs conjoints, et les aides familiaux et enfants qui en dépendent.
