Abstract

Avec une croissance à 6,4 % en 2021 et 5,8 % en 2022, l'Espagne a affiché une reprise post-Covid plutôt dynamique qui s'est confirmée pendant tout le premier semestre 2023. La chute d'activité de 11,2 % liée à la crise sanitaire de 2020 a été effacée. Mi-2023, le PIB dépasse le niveau qu'il avait fin 2019 de 2 %. Pour autant, le pays n'a pas échappé au choc inflationniste qui a frappé l'Europe, ni au relèvement des taux d'intérêt par la BCE. Le ralentissement qui s'en est suivi devrait s'amplifier dans les mois d'été et au-delà. Même si la croissance espagnole resterait supérieure à celle de ses principaux partenaires européens, elle ralentirait significativement en 2024 autour de 1,5 %. L'inflation atteindrait 2,9 % en moyenne et terminerait l'année à 2,4 %, légèrement en dessous de la moyenne de la zone euro. [Premier paragraphe]
