Abstract

Jeudi 8 septembre est sorti le Beige book aux États-Unis. Ce rapport, publié par la Réserve fédérale américaine donne un aperçu de la situation conjoncturelle et des déséquilibres économiques à partir d'informations récoltées auprès des banques et grandes entreprises entre le début juillet et le 29 août dans les 12 districts des Réserves fédérales locales. Publié toutes les 8 semaines, il précède de deux semaines la prochaine réunion du comité de politique monétaire qui se tiendra les 20 et 21 septembre et aide à la prise de décision des membres, tout comme les chiffres de l'emploi sortis quelques jours plus tôt. Or, aujourd'hui grande est l'incertitude sur le timing de la prochaine hausse des taux d'intérêt. [Premier paragraphe]
