Abstract

Fruit d'un travail de sociologues, ce livre analyse les accords de qualité lors des échanges économiques entre produits et consommateurs. Quels sont les points communs entre la qualité du vin, l'origine d'une clémentine et la fabrication d'une voiture ? C'est qu'il s'agit chaque fois de définir, lors de la fabrication et commercialisation d'un produit, les critères qui permettent de définir sa qualité. C'est la qualité qui permet l'élaboration du produit mais aussi son échange entre consommateurs. Mais sur quelle base repose la notion de qualité ? C'est à cette question de nature sociologique que les auteurs tentent de répondre, grâce à une compréhension des mécanismes permettant la construction d'accords de qualité dans des situations très variables.
