Les entreprises de défense connaissent une croissance soutenue de leurs exportations

Abstract

La France a livré à l'international en 2016 des matériels de guerre et matériels assimilés (MG) pour une valeur totale de 8,3 milliards d'euros contre 6,1 milliards en 2014 et 7,3 milliards en 2015. Ces matériels ont contribué à hauteur de 6,6 milliards d'euros au solde commercial de la France en 2016. Au-delà des MG, les 1 800 entreprises de la base industrielle et technologique de défense (BITD) ont exporté 93,7 milliards d'euros de marchandises civiles et militaires en 2016, soit 21 % des exportations totales de la France en 2016. Les entreprises de la BITD contribuent positivement au solde commercial de la France à raison de 33,8 milliards d'euros en 2016. Alors que les exportations de MG soutiennent environ 74 400 emplois directs et indirects en France en 2016, environ un million d'emplois correspondent aux exportations totales de la BITD.
