Abstract

Ce papier propose une analyse des liens entre la notion d'innovation et celle de progrès dans la pensée économique de Schumpeter. En prenant en contre-pied une littérature apologétique, ce papier montre comment Schumpeter, en raison d'une démarche positive, sépare la notion d'innovation de toute connotation normative en excluant son assimilation à la notion de progrès et d'en mesurer la pertinence et les limites.
