Abstract

Cet article présente quatre portraits de personnes ayant obtenu la reconnaissance de la qualité de travailleur handicapé : une auxiliaire de vie, contrainte de réduire son temps de travail ; une comptable dont le handicap est méconnu ; un technicien de laboratoire reconverti en professeur de mathématiques ; une aide-soignante à domicile qui peine à retrouver un emploi. Ces parcours détaillés permettent d'analyser les trois axes des politiques d'insertion des travailleurs handicapés que sont les mesures de quotas d'embauche, les dispositions anti-discriminations et les mesures de protection sociale. Ils permettent d'en esquisser les limites à partir de situations concrètes, notamment en termes d'adaptation des postes de travail ou de difficultés financières persistantes.
