Coopératives et territoires : quelles trajectoires de territorialisation ?

Abstract

Cette communication propose de caractériser les liens entre les coopératives (Scop et Scic) et leur territoire à travers une analyse de leur ancrage et de leur potentiel de territorialisation. Une enquête qualitative menée auprès de sept sociétés coopératives des régions Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes et PACA nous permet d'identifier une grande variété de rapports au territoire. Trois grands résultats ressortent de notre analyse. Premièrement, cette relation « ne va pas de soi » et il n'y a pas de « naturalité » dans le couple coopérative/territoire. Deuxièmement, l'hétérogénéité des configurations observées peut se lire à travers une distinction entre « territoire ressource » et « territoire projet ». Enfin, l'identification d'un couplage « lâche » ou « serré » des coopératives aux territoires constitue un dernier élément de réflexion, et qui n'est pas sans enjeu pour les territoires.
