Festivals et concerts en temps de Covid-19 : une expérience émotionnelle appauvrie ?

Abstract

Alors que la plupart des gros festivals ont décidé d'annuler leur édition 2021, d'autres maintiennent et s'adaptent aux restrictions imposées par le gouvernement. Comment ces mesures vont-elles affecter les interactions sociales et émotionnelles qui sont au cœur de cette expérience du spectacle vivant ? Pour comprendre l'impact des mesures sanitaires (port du masque, limitation de la circulation des personnes, distanciation sociale) il faut déjà connaître l'importance de la dimension émotionnelle collective dans l'expérience de festival. Les résultats d'une étude socioculturelle menée par l'auteur pendant quatre ans sur plus de 20 festivals de musique montrent qu'elle est centrale.
