Sports de glisse : êtes-vous un "rider" sans le savoir ?

Abstract

L'appellation commune "sports de glisse" regroupe selon les classifications nombre d'activités sportives. Les classifications existantes n'ont pas toujours une approche scientifique et sont souvent basées sur le fait d'utiliser un équipement… qui glisse. L'aviron ou le patinage sur glace sont ainsi souvent placés sous la même étiquette. Mais si une planche est presque toujours le dénominateur commun des pratiques de glisse (snowboard, surf, skate, ski, kitesurf, wakeboard, etc.), le type d'engin utilisé ne suffit pas à définir un sport de glisse.
