Abstract

Ce double numéro consacré à l'intermédiation territoriale fait suite à une session spéciale que nous avions organisée dans le cadre du colloque annuel de l'ASRDLF de juillet 2018. Nous avions alors mis en commun nos analyses de l'intermédiation appliquée aux territoires (Nadou, 2013 et Talandier, 2016) et invité d'autres chercheurs de science régionale à venir discuter de cette notion sur la base de leurs travaux.Le concept d'intermédiation -territoriale- a été initié par Claude Lacour au milieu des années 90 en lien avec ses travaux sur la tectonique des territoires (Lacour 1996). Selon lui, « […] nous serions peut-être moins enclins à faire du territoire une notion directement pertinente : géographique, économique, localisé définitivement. On préférerait parler d'intermédiation territoriale, au sens que les territoires servent d'intermédiation, de révélation, de concrétisation à des comportements, à des processus d'acteurs » (Lacour, 1996, p. 31).25 ans plus tard, en quoi ce concept est-il toujours opératoire et utile pour penser les dynamiques territoriales contemporaines, mais aussi les transitions et bouleversements plus profonds qui nous attendent ?
