Abstract

L'article porte sur les réponses des multinationales du CAC 40 face à la crise sanitaire mondiale du COVID-19. Nous avons réalisé une étude qualitative qui est fondée sur l'examen systématique des réactions annoncées sur les sites Internet des multinationales françaises cotées au CAC 40. La période d'observation s'étend du 12 mars 2020 au 10 avril 2020. L'analyse effectuée révèle que la plupart des multinationales s'adaptent à la nouvelle situation et font preuve de flexibilité et de responsabilité en mettant en place des actions citoyennes et des plans de continuité d'activité. Plusieurs multinationales cherchent à innover, notamment en nouant des coopérations. Certaines multinationales n'ont pas annoncé de mesures spécifiques par rapport à la pandémie et on peut s'interroger sur les raisons de ce choix. Il ressort de notre analyse que la crise sanitaire mondiale provoquée par le COVID-19 entraîne de nombreux changements pour les multinationales du CAC 40, notamment au niveau des stratégies empruntées, des modes d'organisation et des relations avec les parties prenantes et la société.
