Styles de vie et distribution : Tendances japonaises

Abstract

Le Japon n'échappe pas aux tendances qui affectent l'ensemble du monde occidental (montée de l'influence des femmes et vieillissement des populations) et les styles de vie et de consommation des diverses générations en sont affectés d'une manière particulière. Ces évolutions ont un impact certain sur l'évolution des circuits de distribution, marqués comme ailleurs par la montée en puissance des discounters. L'inflexion du taux de croissance génère de nouveaux comportements chez les consommateurs. Ceux-ci recherchent un rapport qualité-prix plus intéressant qui favorise l'émergence de nouveaux formats de distribution au détriment du format dominant, celui des grands magasins.
