Abstract

L'internationalisation des entreprises de distribution connaît un mouvement d'accélération au point de porter la compétition entre leaders à une échelle mondiale. Si des analyses antérieures ont décrit et conceptualisé ce phénomène, peu de travaux se sont intéressés au lien entre avantages compétitifs, décisions stratégiques et performances du distributeur à l'international. Après une revue de la littérature, les auteurs présentent un cadre d'analyse théorique dans une seconde partie. Enfin, sept propositions pouvant servir de pistes de recherches ultérieures pour les chercheurs et de thèmes de réflexion pour les praticiens sont présentées dans une troisième partie.
