Processus d’innovation, réseaux et usages d’Internet : les éléments de la croissance du marché de la PME ?

Abstract

Dans un contexte de ruptures, une possibilité pour les entreprises, dans une perspective d'extension de leurs marchés, est l'innovation. Si la relation « innovation-croissance des parts de marché » des firmes semble communément acceptée, l'émergence des technologies de l'Internet a contribué à la faire évoluer. Ces technologies participent au rééquilibrage des conditions de compétitivité des PME vis-à-vis des grandes organisations. En particulier, elles permettent aux PME de s'inscrire dans des réseaux électroniques inter-organisationnels. Cet article explique pourquoi la participation à ces réseaux constitue, pour les PME, un soutien aux processus d'innovation et d'observation de l'environnement, conduisant ainsi à l'extension de leurs marchés. Il repose sur une enquête européenne inter-régionale réalisée en 2004.
