Abstract

La décision d'allocation d'espace aux rayons est une décision stratégique, qui repose aujourd'hui sur un savoir- faire essentiellement empirique des enseignes. Dans cet article, nous estimons l'élasticité des ventes à l'espace des rayons de l'enseigne Monoprix et montrons en quoi elle permet d'améliorer l'allocation d'espace en magasin. Nous proposons notamment une matrice d'analyse du portefeuille de rayons qui prend en compte leur importance stratégique et leur élasticité à l'espace alloué.
