Abstract

L'ouvrage analysé dans cette note de lecture présente les dynamiques chinoises à l'oeuvre en Afrique et en Amérique latine dans une visée comparative. Sa plus-value réside dans l'approche méthodologique mobilisée pour analyser les dynamiques entre les trois régions (Asie, Afrique, ALC). Cette approche repose sur une perspective pluridisciplinaire en Sciences politiques, en Relations internationales, en Économie politique internationale et en Géographie et Histoire, mais aussi une perspective multiniveau parce que les dynamiques chinoises sont observées à différentes échelles (micro, macro et méso) et niveaux (local, national, régional et international). Enfin, les relations extérieures de l'Afrique et de l'ALC sont vues sous un autre angle et permettent d'apercevoir l'impact de la Chine sur les pays en développement.
