Handicaps et vulnérabilités des seniors : l'accompagnement social dans les organisations

Abstract

Cet article s'attache à la manière dont les vulnérabilités modifient et donnent du sens aux espaces de travail des seniors en situation de handicap. Il s'appuie sur une démarche menée auprès du service « préparation de commandes » d'une entreprise européenne de logistique qui mène des actions d'accompagnement auprès de ses salariés seniors en situation de handicap. Quel processus pédagogique résulte de la transmission des savoirs professionnels dans l'accompagnement de ces seniors ? A partir d'une étude de cas, des entretiens ont été menés auprès des accompagnateurs sociaux au cours de l'année 2018 afin d'identifier des modalités d'engagement dans l'accès aux savoirs. Il apparaît que les activités considérées impliquent des interactions propres à la prise en compte d'autrui dans l'intégration des seniors. La négociation de chemins éducatifs entre sujets différents permet à l'organisation sociale d'imaginer de nouveaux espaces de travail afin de contribuer à l'épanouissement du vivre ensemble.
