L’innovation au service d’un tourisme transfrontalier : lecture des pratiques touristiques franco-suisses autour du lac Léman

Abstract

Selon l'Organisation Mondiale du Tourisme, être touriste international c'est dépasser les limites administratives de son pays de résidence. Néanmoins, dès lors que les touristes se déplacent en séjour touristique, ils s'affranchissent, lorsqu'ils en ont la possibilité, des différentes frontières existantes. A l'inverse, les professionnels du tourisme sont soumis à la frontière en tant que limite administrative et géopolitique. Nous avons proposé dans cette communication une réflexion autour des démarches de développement d'un tourisme transfrontalier faisant appel à de l'innovation des acteurs locaux du tourisme. A partir d'une étude autour du lac Léman, frontière entre la France et la Suisse, nous verrons les enjeux et défis qui se présentent afin d'établir la destination touristique la plus cohérente possible, à l'image des pratiques spatiales des touristes.
