Abstract

Le changement technologique stimule autant qu'il inquiète. L'arrivée des nouveaux outils numériques bouleverse notamment les modèles de consommation, les formes d'emploi et les conditions de travail, et pose de nombreux défis aux organisations comme aux individus. S'il est acquis que le changement technologique est un facteur déterminant de la croissance économique, il est non moins vrai qu'il peut aussi être un amplificateur, voire un catalyseur, d'inégalités. Le changement technologique est également un changement social avec lequel il entretient des interactions complexes : la technique est autant la source que la conséquence des transformations sociales. Pour comprendre le changement technologique et en maîtriser les effets, cet ouvrage étudie ces mutations à différentes échelles (sociétale, organisationnelle et individuelle). Il fait également appel, dans son analyse du sujet, à de nombreuses disciplines des sciences humaines et sociales, telles que l'anthropologie, la sociologie ou encore la psychologie.
