Abstract

Si la reconnaissance du Doctorat en France constitue une sorte d'arlésienne, elle renvoie aussi aux interrogations des doctorants quant à leur avenir : que faire avec son PhD ? La recherche académique est-elle le seul débouché, alors que le nombre de postes de chercheurs tend plutôt à diminuer ces dernières années ? Si d'autres débouchés sont théoriquement possibles pour les docteurs, dans le secteur public comme dans le secteur privé, en R&D ou hors R&D, encore faut-il que le monde socio-économique soit intéressé par les compétences dont le titre de docteur atteste.
