Abstract

À l'heure des fake news et de la « post vérité », une interrogation s'impose : comment distinguer réalité et fiction ? S'il importe d'éviter les confusions et la désinformation, il apparaît que ces deux mots ne sont pas systématiquement antinomiques et que des relations se nouent entre ces concepts, dans la narration, le discours et le récit. Dans quelle mesure les récits peuvent-ils être assimilés à des fictions ? Quelles sont les fonctions de ces récits, parfois instrumentalisés ? La fiction peut d'ailleurs être partie prenante de l'activité scientifique en aidant le chercheur à illustrer, voire à structurer et à finaliser, ses travaux.
