Abstract

La diffusion des espaces de travail collaboratifs (qui représentent une forme de « tiers-lieux », selon la terminologie de Ray Oldenburg) au-delà des centres urbains est un phénomène récent qui pose la question des rapports entre populations anciennement installées sur le territoire et celles plus récentes fréquentant ces espaces. Les sociabilités se déploient-elles dans la rencontre de ces deux sphères ? Ou le repli à la fois inter- et intra-communautaire prévaudra-t-il ? L'arrivée des acteurs du numérique (freelancers, startupers, etc.) sur les territoires hors métropole pourrait-elle déboucher sur un processus de déclassement ou, au contraire, de reclassement des populations plus anciennes ? Pour tenter de répondre à ces questions, nous nous appuyons sur les résultats encore préliminaires des premières enquêtes qualitatives de terrain qui ont été menées entre mars et mai 2019 dans le cadre du projet ANR PERI#WORK (ANR-18-CE22-0010-01), plus précisément celles qui ont été réalisées en Bretagne (nord), au Pays Basque (rural) et en Bade-Wurtemberg (sud).
