Abstract

Cette communication se situe dans le champ du contrôle organisationnel. Partant de l'inscription ancienne de la dialectique liberté-contrôle dans les sciences sociales (Berger, Abel, Page, 1954) et de son investigation dans les organisations qualifiées de post-bureaucratiques (Maravelias, 2003), elle s'intéresse aux formes de contrôle dans les entreprises qualifiées de « libérées » (Getz, Carney, 2012). Elle analyse spécialement la façon dont ces entreprises se sont efforcées de dépasser la classique dichotomie liberté-contrôle. Pour rendre compte de ce phénomène, elle s'appuie sur deux cas, qu'elle aborde à la fois sous l'angle structurel des caractéristiques hypothétiques d'un nouveau mode de contrôle propres à ces entreprises et sous l'angle processuel de la mise en œuvre de cette transformation.
