Abstract

Mediante un proceso histórico no exento de resistencias, se ha ido generalizando la hegemonía del reloj y de los calendarios gregorianos en nuestra organización social, imponiendo una mutación radical de nuestros hábitos y procedimientos de vida en sociedad. En tan sólo unos siglos, el tiempo-reloj se ha convertido en la principal herramienta de concepción y gestión de los tiempos en nuestras experiencias cotidianas. Los ritmos biológicos de la naturaleza y sus estaciones, así como los ciclos menstruales y su vertiente astronómica, la órbita lunar alrededor de la tierra, quedan subordinadas en nuestra concepción racional-científica de la realidad, ordenada por los imperativos de medición de una sociedad de mercado eficiente y disciplinada.
