Abstract

En France, les réseaux de santé se sont rapidement développés mais leur bilan est très contrasté. Appliqué au cas des réseaux de santé en gérontologie, l'objet de cet article est de questionner les limites que rencontrent dans leur fonctionnement les réseaux de santé en matière de coordination de leurs membres. À partir de l'étude de sept réseaux gérontologiques, nous montrons que trois grands domaines posent question : l'insuffisance de pouvoir de direction et dans certains cas de légitimité des coordonnateurs de réseau, des problèmes de communication au sein du réseau, et des problèmes de participation de certains acteurs. Ces problèmes sont éclairés et discutés à la lumière des travaux de H. Simon centrés sur la coopération intra-organisationnelle. Ce cadre théorique offre des éléments de réflexion alimentant certaines voies d'atténuation des problèmes repérés.
