Abstract

L'hôpital est aujourd'hui soumis à des transformations en profondeur. Or, l'un des leviers essentiels pour améliorer sa performance est l'évolution de sa gouvernance. Elle travaille à moderniser les structures hospitalières en accordant davantage de confiance à la capacité de décision de ses responsables. La gouvernance recouvre ainsi les différents moyens par lesquels les individus s'organisent pour atteindre des objectifs communs. La nécessité de "décider ensemble" se traduit à l'hôpital de multiples manières : élargissement du périmètre des "parties prenantes" des décisions, contractualisation interne et délégation de gestion aux pôles, apparition de formes sophistiquées de coopération au sein de réseaux de santé. Décider ensemble est plus que jamais un enjeu majeur.
