Abstract

Dans le vaste espace eurasiatique le projet d'intégration économique continue de trouver en la Russie son thuriféraire, promouvant l'union douanière (UD), l'espace économique commun (EEC) et l'union économique eurasiatique (UEE). Face à cet activisme, l'attitude des autres pays reste empreinte de pragmatisme et, parfois, de prudence. C'est que le mode d'intégration choisi comporte plusieurs facteurs d'incertitude, que l'on peut résumer en trois questions : l'intégration économique dans un contexte aussi asymétrique que celui de l'UD Russie-Kazakhstan-Belarus, où la Russie est dominante, est-elle toujours dans l'intérêt des petits pays ? Cette forme d'approfondissement est-elle souhaitable pour la Russie elle-même ? Comment ces projets régionaux s'articulent-ils avec ceux des deux « attracteurs étranges » que sont pour ces économies, l'Union Européenne et la Chine ?
