Entrepreneuriat stratégique et hypercroissance des PME

Abstract

Les PME en hypercroissance (croissance du chiffre d'affaires de plus de 20 % pendant au moins quatre années consécutives) constituent un enjeu tant scientifique qu'économique. Comment le dirigeant gère-t-il la croissance extrême pour la rendre durable ? Comment les caractéristiques du leader en tant qu'entrepreneur stratégique concourent-elles à favoriser le développement rapide de l'entreprise ? Nous examinons la construction de l'hypercroissance en centrant notre analyse sur la place du dirigeant grâce à la définition de l'entrepreneur stratégique donnée par Kuratko et Audretsch (2009). A partir de 48 entretiens réalisés avec les dirigeants de PME en hypercroissance, nous repérons les marqueurs de l'entrepreneuriat stratégique (renouveau stratégique, régénération durable, redéfinition du domaine d'activités, rajeunissement organisationnel, reconstruction du modèle d'affaires). Les résultats sont discutés pour mieux comprendre l'hypercroissance et revenir sur la définition de l'entrepreneuriat stratégique.
