Abstract

L'arrivée d'un nouveau directeur général à la tête d'un centre de responsabilité comprenant dans son périmètre deux joint-ventures internationales 50/50 entre un groupe industriel Européen et un groupe Japonais est l'occasion de rechercher un nouveau dynamisme pour des cadres dont l'action est contrainte par les difficiles relations entre les deux entreprises parentes. Le nouveau dirigeant souhaite mobiliser ses équipes autour de nouvelles orientations, mais il fait bientôt l'expérience de la difficulté à les formuler dans un contexte où la diplomatie impose sa loi : ne pas trop en dire. L'art du flou, typique des montages institutionnels compliqués reprend alors ses droits.
