Abstract

Par leurs effets multiples et ambivalents, la recherche et l'innovation agronomiques sont au cœur des mouvements qui façonnent le monde agricole. Les auteurs examinent les couplages historiques entre processus de production des connaissances scientifiques et techniques d'une part, formes d'organisation contingentes de l'action collective d'autre part. Ils mettent en évidence la multiplication des espaces d'action collective fondés sur des régimes spécifiques de normativité et de coopération, nommés "ordres socio-économiques". Au cours des cinquante dernières années, ils décèlent trois "modèles de polarisation de la recherche" distincts. Ils interprètent l'histoire récente du monde agricole par la transformation conjointe des ordres socio-économiques agricoles et des modes de polarisation de la recherche.
