L'illusion de l'autonomie de la coordination par le contrat vis-à-vis de toute action collective : l'ambivalence de la RSE

Abstract

En matière de coordination, la distinction classique qui est faite en sciences sociales est celle entre coordination par respect d'une norme (normalisation), coordination par la relation d'autorité (hiérarchie) et coordination spontanée entre individus (contrat librement consenti). La Responsabilité Sociale de l'Entreprise invite à questionner cette distinction en se demandant tout particulièrement comment ces trois modalités se combinent. Le constat empirique que ces trois modalités existent et s'opposent est une évidence qui ne fait pas l'objet de discussions. En revanche, on ne peut induire rien de précis de l'observation des faits concernant leur combinaison : s'agit-il de trois modalités autonomes les unes des autres ou au contraire sont-elles indissociables ? L'ambition de ce chapitre est d'en proposer une conceptualisation unifiée relevant d'un socle commun de science sociale.
