Abstract

The object of this paper is to show that the question of the institutional change in the context of a rent-oriented economy as that of Algeria would not to be approached without that is evoqued the political dimension of the change. The mediocrity of the economic results recorded by the country is explained largely by the incapacity to generate institutional configurations in adequacy with necessity of the emergence of a productive economy, in rupture with the rent-logic on which the accumulation regime was founded until then.
