L'impact des démarches qualité sur les pratiques d'audit interne : Vers une nouvelle typologie de l'audit interne

Abstract

Conçues dans un premier temps comme un moyen de sélection des fournisseurs, les démarches qualité sont très vites devenues des méthodes de management mises en oeuvre par les normes ISO 9000 et ISO 14000 au sein des entreprises. Pour s'assurer de la réalisation des procédures qualité, les entreprises ont mis en place des pratiques d'audit qualité très proches de celles de l'audit interne. La question qui se pose alors est : Est-ce que le référentiel qualité peut servir de base à toutes les missions d'audit interne ? Pour répondre à cette question, nous avons défini l'audit interne comme un processus "Penser, Instrumentaliser, Assimiler et Analyser" et analysé 11 missions d'audit interne réalisées à EDF. Ce travail de modélisation et d'analyse empirique nous a conduit à proposer une typologie de l'audit interne distinguant l'audit interne "Evaluation" dans lequel peut figurer l'audit qualité, l'audit interne "Explication" et l'audit interne "Exploration".
