Abstract

Depuis dix ans l'environnement hospitalier se transforme et devient plus exigeant. Dans un tel contexte, comment les médecins appréhendent-ils la notion de performance ? A partir d'une étude approfondie sur le terrain, cet article se propose de décrire leurs représentations de la performance et d'établir en particulier le poids respectif accordé à la santé du patient et à la maîtrise des coûts.
