La norme ISO 26 000 : une norme-définition qui a le statut d'un compromis

Abstract

En se donnant pour objectif d'établir une norme fixant les "Lignes directrices relatives à la responsabilité sociétale", l'organisation internationale de normalisation (ISO) a quitté son domaine traditionnel de normalisation internationale. C'est ce que ce chapitre se propose de montrer, en traitant une question de fond : de quel genre de norme s'agit-il ? La première partie de ce chapitre est consacrée à l'élaboration théorique de la proposition selon laquelle la norme ISO 26 000 est d'une forme différente, en l'occurrence une "norme-définition". Les implications de la matière de cette nouvelle norme sont traitées dans la seconde partie.
