La notion de puissance internationalement dominante

Abstract

Repartant de la notion d'Économie Internationalement dominante de F. Perroux, l'article l'élargit à celle de Puissance Internationalement Dominante (PID) en intégrant la dimension militaire à la dimension civile. La PID, ayant en charge la gestion du monde, est l'économie monde qui intrique le mieux l'économie civile et l'économie militaire. Ceci lui permet d'avoir la meilleure capacité de transfert de ses facteurs de puissance sur l'échiquier stratégique. Mais la PID ne peut être durable car elle suscite ses propres challengers tout en subissant les coûts de sa puissance. Pour échapper à leur concurrence, elle se spécialise alors sur les secteurs, se sclérose et décline. Toutefois, la perte de son statut suppose l'émergence d'une puissance potentiellement plus grande capable de réorienter les réseaux de l'économie internationale. Cette perte se fait au cours d'une crise hégémonique, véritable crise organique mère de toutes les barbaries.
