Abstract

L'ouvrage rassemble plusieurs contributions issues du colloque "Le développement durable dans l'espace méditerranéen", organisé les 11 et 12 juin 2009 à Aix en Provence par le Centre d'Etudes et de Recherches Internationales et Communautaires (CERIC) et le Centre d'Etudes et de Formation sur les Economies Méditerranéennes (CEFEM), dans le cadre du Pôle Développement Durable et Territoires Méditerranéens de l'Université Paul Cézanne – Aix Marseille III. L'objectif est d'alimenter la réflexion sur les pistes et les leviers d'actions à explorer pour répondre aux défis d'un développement durable en Méditerranée. Les voies de développement, la législation, les modes opératoires, les formes de coopération et de coordination... sont interrogés dans la perspective d'avancer vers une société méditerranéenne plus harmonieuse dans ses relations entre humains mais aussi entre les hommes et la nature. L'ouvrage se compose de 14 chapitres, organisés autour de quatre thèmes : – Enjeux et défis du développement durable en Méditerranée. – Vulnérabilité et adaptation au changement climatique – La problématique de l'eau. – La protection des ressources et des milieux naturels.
