Abstract

L'objectif de cet article est d'analyser le processus de mise en œuvre de la Responsabilité Sociale de l'Entreprise (RSE) au sein des firmes multinationales. Une étude de cas retrace la mise en œuvre du programme de lutte contre le sida du Groupe Lafarge en Afrique. L'angle d'attaque retenu dans cette illustration est celui des relations entretenues entre le siège et les filiales et l'article vise ainsi à contribuer aux trois questions suivantes. La gestion des enjeux de RSE au sein d'une firme multinationale nécessite-t-elle l'élaboration de systèmes de pilotage spécifiques ? Quelle est l'influence et l'importance du contexte local sur le comportement des filiales ? Comment les filiales peuvent-elles développer des initiatives locales pertinentes dans un cadre de RSE global ?
