Abstract

Ce papier a pour objectif d'explorer les effets de l'Internet sur la performance du yield management dans les chaînes hôtelières et de déterminer les facteurs explicatifs de ces effets. Appliquées au secteur des services, les techniques du yield management ne cessent de se développer pour s'assurer contre le risque de non remplissage des capacités périssables. En profitant pleinement du développement exponentiel des usages de l'Internet pour bâtir de nouvelles approches exploitant toutes particularités de ce nouveau canal, les offreurs des services établissent un lien étroit et permanent avec leurs clients en leur proposant des produits et services en phase avec leurs attentes..
