Abstract

La construction de consensus est un mode de régulation qui séduit par son aspect démocratique et sa capacité à gérer la diversité. Mais qu'en est-il de la réalité? Cette étude phénoménologique et interprétative du processus de décision néerlandais permet d'observer une articulation particulièrement lâche entre l'autonomie individuelle et la coopération. Elle informe également sur le mode d'insertion de l'individu néerlandais dans son groupe. La recherche met en relief l'ancrage culturel du consensus puis relève les difficultés que les Français peuvent éprouver avec ce mode de décision et ce type d'articulation entre l'individuel et le collectif. Les conséquences pour le management interculturel sont examinées
