Abstract

Ce chapitre part du constat de la difficulté à définir la notion ou le concept de compétence dans le champ de l'analyse économique. Un premier point traite de l'émergence de la notion de compétence dans le champ de l'économie industrielle. Cette approche a permis un recentrage de l'analyse sur la nature de la compétence de la firme qui fait l'objet d'un deuxième point. Enfin, un troisième point aborde la dimension collective et cognitive de la compétence au sein de la firme.
