La performance boursière à long terme des émetteursd'obligations convertibles : phénomène de sous ou de sur-réaction ? Cas du marché français (1990-2001)

Abstract

Le but de cette étude est d'évaluer la performance boursière des émetteurs d'obligations convertibles sur le marché français, sur une fenêtre d'événement de trois années après l'émission.En utilisant des approches et des benchmarks variés, nous montrons que la sous-performance boursière des émetteurs d'OC constatée au moment de l'annonce de l'émission, persiste durant les trois années suivant la réalisation de cette dernière. Nos résultats sont conformes à l'hypothèse de sous-réaction.
