Abstract

La communication défend que nous vivions désormais la nature comme une expérience parmi d'autres et de manière fragmentaire. Nous ne pouvons plus penser la nature dans son unité. Cette donnée, couplée à l'accélération permise par les technologies de l'information et les médias sociaux, produit une prédominance de la valeur d'exposition sur la valeur cultuelle dans notre relation à la nature. La lutte contre le changement climatique passe elle aussi par les médias sociaux, mais ne réussit pas à nous mobiliser. Notre attention est détournée perpétuellement et l'utilisation des réseaux sociaux par les activistes ne fait qu'amplifier le problème. Nous ne sommes plus en mesure de fixer notre attention sur ce qui compte : la nature dans son unité. Pour sortir de l'impasse, il faut revenir à une éthique de la nature ordinaire.
