Abstract

Outil d'intégration et de transfert de compétences, le tutorat permet des apprentissages multiples et peut viser différentes ambitions. L'auteur explore dans cet article les mécanismes par lesquels s'opère cette activité de transmission de savoirs en situation de travail. Il montre également qu'un véritable encadrement de la fonction tutorale s'avère indispensable, pour en tirer tous les bénéfices escomptés et instaurer dans la confiance et dans la durée cette démarche de partage des compétences. Le tuteur apporte une véritable contribution, qu'il convient de savoir reconnaître. À défaut, la pérennisation de ce mode de transmission des savoirs s'avère illusoire.
